In this short blog post, we would like to underline the outstanding performance of our Spinsolve 80 ULTRA systems. Here, a complete structure validation on a 90 mM Erythromycin A sample was performed. Erythromycin A is a broad-spectrum, macrolide antibiotic on the World Health Organization’s List of Essential Medicines. It is often used for the treatment of a wide variety of bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, skin infections, pelvic inflammatory disease. The figure below shows the 2D HSQC-ME spectrum of this 90 mM Erythromycin A sample in CDCl3 measured on a Spinsolve 80 MHz ULTRA system showing the correlation between the 1H (horizontal) and 13C (vertical) signals.
